Feng Shui is not magic nor formed on superstition. It does not matter what culture you are from as we all feel how our surroundings affect us. We can all feel if a room feels inviting or has a good feeling. We can also feel if a room feels unpleasant.
The problem is that Feng Shui can be confusing as it is an art that has been passed down generation by generation and mixing with it Chinese religion. I practice Feng Shui very simply and take the confusion out. I have kept the essence of Feng Shui about how we can organize a home and work place and create the most optimal surroundings for growth and prosperity.
Really, Feng Shui is almost down to a science. For example, place your door here and you will fight. Place your stove in this position and you will have a more communicative relationship with your partner. Place your bed in this spot away from negative energy lines and, you will be healthy and sleep better. It, of course, is not that simple as there are other factors that come into play.
